Meeting in the alleys. (Private, Neko and Zeph)

Zephyrine was wandering the streets, checking out the neutral territory of The City. For as long as she remembered, everyone here had powers, and the guilds stood tall as ever. She kicked a can and it clattered away into a box, where a muffled "Hey!" came from. She moved on. Other people weren't so lucky. Ever since The End had come, natural disasters struck the Earth, or what was left of it. Radiation and toxic gases killed most, while earthquakes and tsunamis came after. Most of the Americans came here, to The City, where was located in what was 'Iowa', or so the past people said. The City had grown, and about a quarter of a billion lived here now. Immigrants came, but never went, because where could you go? There are almost enough plants to keep people from dying here, from the foul air. She'd heard that there were other cities too. Sighing, she said down. Foods and produce costed lots of points, what were called dollars. But many people had at least 100, or more. A loaf of bread costed about 10 . Zephyr continued onto the border of the Darkness guild, then headed back.

Nekoma glanced down from the tree she was hiding in, below a member of the Light Guild looked around, confused. Ray stifled a laugh, it was easy to escape from enemies if one had wings, which Ray did. Neko leaped silently from the branch, landing on the boy's back. The boy was about 15, but Nekoma Raythen didn't show any mercy. She stabbed him in the heart with her dagger. That's for killing Sunny. She was only five, did you know that? She thought as the boy died. Rayth rose into the air, and flew.
She flew into the city where she landed in an alley. Nekoma then wandered the city, heading towards the Storm Guild border.

Zephyrine turned on her heel and headed back, while whistling a tune. She didn't care if people looked at her weird. Why not attract attention? Zeph brought out her poignard, and small French dagger. If there was anything she liked, it was French things. Even speaking the language was like a day at a carnival for her. {Speaking of the carnival,} She thought. {Why don't I go there later?} Zeph reached the torm Guild border, then raised her hand to the guards at the alleyway.

OMG!! Storm Guild people! Nekoma thought, seeing Zepher. She stood silently, trying not to be seen so that she ould follow them.

The guards let her in and she nodded to them, showing a card of some kind. It was used to get into different guilds and showed everything about people. She then transformed into a small bird, flying to the branch of a tree to rest.

Aww, crap. What am I supposed to do now?!?! Nekoma thought, for she didn't have a pass and would be unable to enter without killing the guards. With a sigh she turned around, starting to return back to her guild, Darkness Guild, when an idea struck her. Quickly she darted into an alley and fully transformed into a raven, one of the three animals (wolf, raven, and cat) she could turn into. Taking off she landed in the same tree as the Storm Guild person.

The blue jay who was Zephyr squawked at the raven who had landed near her. She fluttered, then turned into a raven. She cocked her head at Nekoma, the clacked her beak, as to say "Who are you, and why are you here?".

"What am I doing here? What are you doing here?" Nekoma squawked back.

"I was here first! Then you fly in and interrupt me!" She shook her bird head and flew to another branch.

"Brat," Nekoma muttered. "Emmy Jaxson wouldn't approve if I let that tone go unpunished." Rayth turned back into her normal part human-part cat-part rave appearance and delicately balanced on the branch. With a flick of her wrists a dagger appeared.

Zephyrine saw who this was. "Alright, you want to play?" She transformed into her normal self, yet with large wings and a griffin's ears and tail. "Nekoma, right? Leader of the Darkness guild? I thought our guild were at peace." She sighed.

"Umm, hello? You were the rude one. And we are at peace. I just want to have a little fun. The Light Guild person was way to easy to beat. So, come on. Let's battle!" Nekoma made her pupils huge, until there was just a rim of blue around them. Ray's ears went down and she stuck out her bottom lip.
"After we can do what I came here to do in the first place. I came here, Zephr, to make, not a peace treaty, but an Alliance. I have some information you made find interesting. My best Spies almost died getting it. So what'll it be, Zephyrine?"

"Well, how about next time your more formal? Or have you got no fashion sense? Plus, I am not rude." She rolled her eyes. " And I'm saying no to the fighting. Leaders don't fight for fun."

"Fine," Nekoma said dully. "I say we become an Alliance. What do you think. My spies have heard about the Light and Life Guilds are forming an Alliance. And those people are my biggest threat. So, I really need you to accept. Please?" Nekoma blinked her eyes sweetly as only a cat can do.

"Yes. The Alliance will happen. Now I wonder about an alliance with the Flame guild. We could almost bring bad the Destruction guild..." Zeph murmured to herself.

"No way. I am not making an Alliance with the Flame Guild. I had one, a year ago, but they ruined it by killing all our children." Nekoma's eyes blazed. "My conditions for this Alliance are as followed: We will not, and cannot, attack each other, lest the Alliance be broken. We will help each other where ever help is needed. We will also tell all information, important or not. What are your terms, Zephyrine."

"Well, that was with the old leader, you know, the one that attack almost anyone that was caught LOOKING at him? Now there's a new one. Just let me ask, alright?" Zeph said. "As for the terms, I'd say the same thing. But also sharing resources. You have good weapons, like a LOT of guns. We had the most energy, which is very important too. IF we included the Flame guild, they could supply us with ores and metals."

"Yes, but the new leader of the Flame Guild is the old leaders son. And the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as they used to say, so I guess you could talk to them, but I'm still not sure." Nekoma worried her lip, ears twitching. "But yes, I do agree with your other term. Let's sign and make it official." Nekoma whipped out a sheet of paper, which was rare by itself. But what was on it was weird. The exact words of the terms were on there, though Ray didn't write on it once. "It's magic, in case your wondering." Rayth signed in a flowing script, then held it out to Zepryr.

Zeph signed it, then handed the paper back. "Guards." She yelled to them. "Then everyone that the Storm Guild and the Darkness Guild are Allies!"

"You talk to Flame Guild, but don't say I didn't war you." Nekoma leaped into the air, her powerful black wings allowing her flight. She looked like an angel of darkness. "Until next time." And with that Nekoma Raythen flew back towards the Darkness Guild, her home.

Zeph nodded, then leaped down, but decided not to go just yet. She whistled, then Cody, her dog, came running to her. "Hello there boy. Want to go for a walk?"

"Attention! Darkness Guild and Storm Guild are now allies. Please treat them as you wound a member of our own. That is all," Nekoma announced as she returned to the Darkness Guild headquarters.

She lead Cody to the Center, the place where all Guilds could meet in peace. People waved at her, and she waved back. Here, everyone was equal.

Nekoma jumped into the sky again, her wings lifting her higher and higher. She decided to go to the Market, located in the Center. Ray needed more Flame Guild iron and obsidian to make her trademark swords with.

Cody barked, as if to say that he was hungry. "Fine, fine. Let's go get something to eat." Zeph said as they walked to the Market for food.
